BROTHER, JANGAN CARIK PASAL DALAM PBB!

-DENGAR-DENGAR CERITA, ADA HAMBA ALLAH NI NAK MENCABAR ADUN DEMAK LAUT YB DR HAZLAND UNTUK JAWATAN PENGERUSI PBB DEMAK LAUT YANG LAZIMNYA DIPEGANG OLEH ADUN (PBB) KEPADA KAWASAN ITU! APA NIAT INDIVIDU TU YER? NAK JADI "KAPTEN KEDUA" DALAM SATU KAPAL KER? KEKEKE!!!-

Wasallam.

-FOR 2012 ALONE, JUNAIDI HAD SUCCEEDED IN BRINGING AN OVERALL TOTAL OF RM18 MILLION FOR MORE THAN 100 PROJECTS IN SANTUBONG, A TREMENDOUS ACHIEVEMENT INDEED-
FOR GOOD CAUSE Junaidi (centre) handing a cheque to one of the recipients looked on by Feona (on his right), Rashidi (his left) and dignitaries at the ceremony yesterday
The total development projects in Santubong Parliamentary constituency which are considered having “minor set-backs” which is less than 30 per cent of the overall 100 over varieties of projects.

Member of Parliament for Santubong Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said that a majority of these so-call “set-backed” projects has been identified caused by the contractors whom failed to meet the dateline to commence their work at the site due to various reasons.

“Although, some of the projects had been tenderized to commence the work since June this year, some of the sites had not been touched” at all,” said Junaidi adding that the usual reason for not meeting the commencing date are financial, manpower and others.

“To tell you tell you frankly, all the hard work and initiative dedicated by any Member of Parliament to allocate the funding for any development projects in his or her area will literally go into the drain as the funding would be given back to the federal should the project failed to start.”

He explained although most of the set-backed projects were below RM300,000.00, it is still a waste as it will benefit many of the people in the area where the projects were supposed to be erected.

Junaidi, who is also Deputy Speaker of Parliament disclosed to UnReportedNews™® that for this year alone (2012), he had managed to “milk-up” nearly RM18 million worth development projects he had mentioned earlier.

Accompanied by his wife Datin Hajah Feona Sim Abdullah, Junaidi was met after attending the presenting ceremony of the “Touch-Point Cheques and Emergency Allocations” in conjunction with the breaking and fast session for his Parliamentary constituency held at a hotel near the city here on Wednesday evening.

“To ensure the contractors will work up to schedule, the community nearby, especially community leaders, village heads, grass root leader and those concerned to have the initiative of being pro-active by continue to monitor the projects.”

Pointing out that, government department and agencies such as the Public Work Department (JK) and others are doing all they can to monitor the situation however, it is quite impossible to monitor all and might had overlooked some of the cases.

“For even more effectiveness, any of those he mentioned earlier that could lend a hand to the government, if possible please report in writing for future references relating to the matter.”

The total amount of the cheque presentation were RM396,500.00; maintaining basic facilities for four respective villages (RM100,000.00), 14-Emergency Allocation recipients (RM23,200.00) and 53-Special Touch-Point Allocation recipients (RM246,300.00).

Also present were Santubong Pemanca Rashidi Junai, Pantai Damai PBB Woman Chief Aminah Fatimah Junaidi, Demak Laut PBB Woman Chief Rokiah Temben, JKR Southern Regional Officer Abdul Kamal Mohammad and other distinguished guests.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX TO SUCCEED

-IF YOU CAME FROM A FARMER FAMILY, IT DOES NOT DETERMINED YOU ARE DESTINED TO BE A FARMER TOO, BE DARING & HAVE COURAGE TO TRY SOMETHING NEW BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW YOU MIGHT EVEN HAVE HIDDEN TALENTS & SKILLS FOR IT-
(third left) Junaidi presented the RM20,000 mock-cheque to Suhaili while looked on by (from left) Wan Hamzah, Sudin, Feona and Fatimah at Kampung Muara Tebas’ Breaking of Fast ceremony on Tuesday evening
To some, thinking outside the box may be a bit too risky as the circumstances is so unpredictable however, with just enough courage and persistent, wisely taking a small step one after the other, it is possible for that person to eventually learn to walk even on unrecognised terrain.

Member of Parliament for Santubong Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said for those who are afraid and daring enough to grab a chance on something unfamiliar to them are in fact making the biggest mistake of their lives.

“This is because, they would carry the burden of the golden question till the rest of their lives wondering whether they might succeed should they decide to do the otherwise on the opportunity literally passing before them, all because they don't have enough guts even to give it a try.

“As for an example, just say that you came from generations of farmer families, that does not determined or categorized you are also destined to farm as your carrier as what had your father and their fore-fathers had choose to do before you.

“The choice is in your hand for you to decide, whether to the initiative to think outside the box, trying something new for instance; learning mechanic or carpenter skills because you never know that you possibly have the talents in those skills but then again, you’ll never just know until you give it a try.”

Junaidi, who is also Deputy Speaker of Parliament pointed out that it's quite normal for someone failing in their first or several initial attempts in something unfamiliar but making mistakes is just a part and parcel of life, by learning through our failures mistakes.

“Learning through all our mistakes and failures in a way would motivated us even more focused than before and most importantly, never give up and kept on trying, InsyaAllah (With God’s Willing), in the end,  you will succeed sooner or later,” he advised.

“Our country, under Barisan Nasional (BN) government led by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak is currently on the right path making all sorts of preparations as Malaysia moves forward towards the mark of our country's transformation into a developed and high-income country by the year 2020.”

“By initiatively working outside your normal job-scope, you are in fact assisting the government by being not so depended on them to provide you with a job,” said Junaidi adding despite the hundreds and thousands of occupations created by the government, it always seemed they were insufficient as the jobs were focussed onto some limited certain sectors or fields .”

Junaidi, who was accompanied by his wife Datin Hajah Feona Sim Abdullah said this in his speech during the Majlis Sungkei Perdana P193  Santubong Zon Muara Tebas which was held at the Community Hall at Kampung Muara Tebas near the city here on Tuesday evening.

The Breaking of Fast Ceremony was an annual event practiced by Junaidi in every Ramadhan month and were held rotationally in every respective villages in all the three DUN; Pantai Damai, Demak Laut and Tanjung Datu in the Santubong Parliamentary constituency.

During the ceremony, Junaidi presented a cheque of RM20,000 for the cost to build the drainage system of the villages’ Community Hall, RM5,000 each to the villages’ Fishermen Children Association and the Village’s Woman’s Association respectively.

Junaidi also presented his personal donation of RM8,500 to 170 recipients comprising of unfortunate children, single-mothers and elderly folks from nine villages nearby the vicinity.

Meanwhile, Feona who earlier had also distributed some undisclosed amount of her personal donation to the recipients also handed about 30 pieces of cloths to the elderly folks on behalf of the  Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (BAKTI) in Sarawak.

Also present at the breaking of fast ceremony were Junaidi’s Senior Private Secretary and also PBB Demak Laut Youth Chief Wan Hamzah Wan Paie, PBB Demak Laut Women Wing Chief Fatimah @ Rokiah Temben, Community Leader Suhaili Sahari, PBB Kampung Muara Tebas Chief Sudin Rasit and other distinguished guests.

BEWARE OF "ELECTION SPECIALISTS"

-THEY WOULD MAKE THEIR APPEARANCES WITHIN FIVE-YEARS, PARTICULARLY  DURING ELECTION TIME & START DISCREDITING THE GOVERNMENT CLAIMING THAT THEY CAN DO BETTER, WOOING FOR VOTES-
(From right) Land & Survey Assistant Surveyor Zaini Rashidi, Datuk Wan Junaidi and Dr Hazland during the “kiblat direction” process for the new Kampung Muara Tebas Mosques earlier this morning.
THE oppositions are just like “election specialists” whom will make their appearances raising-up irrelevant issues against the government within each five-year, particularly during election time.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said this adding these quarters are looking for opportunities to confuse the people by discrediting the government by any means they can.

Junaidi, who is also Member of Parliament for Santubong was met by reporters at the earth-breaking ceremony of the new Kampung Muara Tebas mosque at Kampung Muara Tebas near the city here earlier this morning.

“I was informed that just recently, a group of people coming to this village claiming that “they” can help the villagers to “quicken” the building process of the new Kampung Muara Tebas Mosque,” he disclosed to the reporters during an interview after the breaking ceremony.

According to Junaidi, the claims made by this certain quarters are preposterous with an obvious intention to discredit all the governments projects and directly reflects that those making such claims doesn’t know how the procedures of the implementation of government projects.

“These people, who are outsiders literally doesn’t understands the entire time-frame and technicalities in implementing government projects and all they can do is just talk and to critic about the government.”

He said that fortunately the Kampung Muara Tebas villagers were “matured” enough and realised the opposition’s propagandas and informed his Santubong Community Service Centre regarding on the matter.

Junaidi explained that every single one of the government projects needs to go through some certain procedures such as the tender processes and other technical stuffs before the project itself could be implemented but definitely these processes could not be politicised.

He then disclosed that the Federal Government had approved an allocation of RM3 million to up-grade and repairs 21 suraus and mosques in Pantai Damai and Demak Laut; which are in his Santubong Parliamentary constituency.

“The Public Work Department (PWD) had given assurances that all these suraus and mosques up-grades and repairs would be completed within 12 months (in this year).”

The cost of new Kampung Muara Tebas Mosque is RM2.5 million and located on a quarters acre land and can accommodate 500 worshippers and initially to be completed in March next year. Also present were Demak Laut State Assemblymen Dr Hazland Abang Hipni.

BE CREATIVE & DARING TO IMPROVE LIVING STANDARD-JUNAIDI

EXPLORE OTHER MEANS OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES RATHER THAN RELYING THEIR OLD TRADITIONAL OCCUPATION AS FISHERMEN
Junaidi seated) with his staffers from Santubong Parliamentary Service Centre during their visit at the Deputy Speaker of Parliament in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Member of Parliament for Santubong Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar urged the people in his Parliamentary constituency to be more creative and daring to explore other means of economic opportunities rather than relying on their old traditional occupation as fishermen to boost their income higher.

“A fishermen’s fishing trip to the sea is literally “gambling with the waves” because of their uncertain catch and sometimes, they even came back empty handed therefore, I suggest the Santubong people to be more innovative and instead of going out to the sea to fish, they can bring along the tourists in their boat for a fishing trip.”

Junaidi, who is also the Deputy Speaker of Parliament said this adding that the tourism and industrial sectors have great potentials to generate a far better income to the people compared to the old traditional of fishing.
“The fishermen cannot be too dependent fishing in the sea as their main mean of generating cash for their livelihood, but they however, could alter the pattern of the old fishing tradition with a slight modern twist,” said Junaidi to reporters.

He said this after hosting a dinner session for 80 participants, comprising of the Community Leaders and village-heads from the Santubong Parliamentary constituency involved in the “Parliament Visit 2011” program held at one of the leading hotel in the capital here recently.

The fishermen can take the opportunity charging the tourist for bringing them out to the sea using their boats to charge them,” said Junaidi adding that by using speedboats, each of tourists could be charged between RM 100 to RM 200 per person, if we take up to 10 people in one trip then we have received RM 2,000, is far more profitable.

Junaidi reminded the envoy of the people that he (Junaidi) could only give advices and suggestions to them however, in the end, it is actually depends on  the people themselves whether they are keen and interested improve their standard of living through such business or otherwise.

THREE DUNS IN SANTUBONG 100 PERCENT SUPPORTS JUNAIDI AS MP

-JUNAIDI GETS FULL BACK_PS FROMHIS THREE ADUNS-
ADENAN-PRESENTLY, THE BEST MAN FOR SANTUBONG IS WAN JUNAIDI

MINISTER to Chief Minister's Office, Special Function Minister, Advisor to Chief Minister and also Tanjung Datu DUN Tan Sri Dato Sri Adenan Haji Satem admitted that despite of not agreeing with his MP's views in certain matters in some occasions, Junaidi is still the best person to be the Santubong MP.
"Although Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) and State Barisan Nasional's (BN) tradition or practice on the final say of choosing our candidates is up to Chief Minister Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib, personally I believe the right person for Santubong in the next GE is Wan Junaidi and if given a chance to express this matter to Pehin, I will gladly tell the Chief Minister of my opinion."

"Our views on certain matters may be different but hard for me to admit, Wan Junaidi really works hard for the people of Santubong as we can see the development he brought in his constituencies particularly in my DUN Tanjung Datu," he said in his speech during the PBB Santubong appreciation dinner recently.

"No doubt currently, there is no other better person to represent Santubong but Wan Junaidi," added Adenan to the audience of more than 1,000 people attending the dinner, who in response gave him a standing obviation at the end of his speech.

RAHMAN-BEING DEPUTY SPEAKER GIVES JUNAIDI & SANTUBONG ADVANTAGES

Pantai Damai DUN Dr Haji Abdul Rahman Junaidi was the first of the three DUNs in Santubong who openly "declared" his support towards Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar to retain his Parliamentary seat and continue his (Junaidi) services as MP representative for Santubong.

"For a long time, I have 'studied' Datuk Wan and I realized that his position as Deputy Speaker of Parliament had given him a 'special advantages' particularly when seeking allocations for development projects in Santubong constituency."

"Datuk Wan's appointment which gave him a sustainable responsibility in Parliament however, did not refrain or minimize his routine visits to his constituency here," said Rahman in his speech during a PBB function not long ago.

"Under Datuk Wan' leadership, the momentum of development in Santubong which a majority of its area is urban area (including Pantai Damai) is considered drastically fast and it would be a terrible waste for the people of Santubong and Sarawak in general should he decides not to contest/defend his seat or replaced by another candidate."

HAZLAND'S BACKING JUNAIDI TOO

Although earlier I stated Demak Laut DUN Dr Hazland Abang Hipni did not reply to any of my SMS and FB messages, yesterday (November 17) YB Hazland kindly approached me at DUN and asked me whether I received his SMS regarding the matter. Sorry YB, MY BAD-it seemed my handphone had malfunctioned.

Hazland said that he is fully behind Datuk Wan as he (Datuk Wan) had assisted him so much during the recent State Election last April. He also hopes that the top leader of BN will maintain Datuk Wan as Santubong MP because the people still needs Datuk Wan's services.

HAMZAH-PBB DEMAK LAUT YOUTH AT FULL FORCE BEHIND JUNAIDI

PBB Demak Laut Youth Chief, PBB Kuching Zone Youth Chief and also Junaidi's Senior Personal Parliament Secretary Wan Hamzah Wan Paie said that they will give an undivided support to Junaidi in the next 13th GE

"Datuk Wan had achieved so much for the Santubong people all this while and he can still "produce" and bring more development for the Santubong people, I don't see any reason why he should not continue his service as our MP," he added.

"Just recently, our Prime Minister Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak stated that age and how many terms of services DOES NOT MATTER and will not effect the decision to chose the MP candidate in the next GE but most importantly, the candidate can WIN and with Junaidi's performances and current support, a WIN in SANTUBONG is for sure if Junaidi continues as an MP."
