-A TOTAL OF 336 QUESTIONS WILL BE TABLED BY THE 38 RESPECTIVE DUN MEMBERS, 233 QUESTIONS ARE FOR ORAL REPLIES WHILE 98 ARE FOR RETURN REPLIES IN THE FIRST MEETING OF THE SECOND TERM OF THE 17TH STATE ASSEMBLY HALL SITTING BETWEEN 14TH TO 23RD MAY-
The honourable State Assembly representatives of the August House is urged and reminded to strictly follow and adhere the stipulate law during the session of the First Meeting of the Second Term of the 17th State Assembly Hall Sitting.
Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar making these reminders during the presss conference after the final full rehearsal of the launching of the DUN's opening ceremony at the new DUN earlier this morning.
"I suggest the members to strictly observed the corrum of the dewan and adhere strictly accordingly to the DUN's law, act politely while engaging business during the First Meeting of the Second Term of the 17th State Assembly Hall Sitting between this forthcoming 14th to 23rd May."
Asfia also disclosed that the Yang di Pertua Negeri (TYT) Tun Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng and his wife Toh Puan Norkiah are scheduled to grace the ceremony on the 14th May.
"A grand total of 336 questions will be tabled by 38 respective DUNs and out of the number, 233 questions are for oral replies while 98 questions are for return replies," said Asfia.
"From all the questions, five questions have been rejected for infringing the present provisions orders of the dewan," he said adding that the questions and answers sessions wil only start on Tuesday (the second day of the sitting).
Also present at the press conference was Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Secretary Supian Tarmizi Haji Mohd Tazuddin.
Earlier yesterday morning, a troop of 105 members of the Batallion 11 of the General Operation Force (PGA) led by ASP Iswandy Anis with the Royal Police Department orcheatra also rehearsed at the final full rehearsal session.
Also present final full rehearsal session was Datuk Roland Sagah and others.
