-DURING THE STATE ELECTION, CANDIDATES FROM THE COMPONENT BN PARTIES USES BN LOGO NOT THEIR RESPECTIVE PARTY LOGOS

SPEAKER of Sarawak Legislative Assembly Hall (DUN) Datuk Amar Mohammad Asfia Awang Nasar said that the formation of the Barisan Nasional (BN) club in this State is not wrong.
“The BN club can serve as “temporary resting platform” before those quarters involved in the conflicts can settle “their disagreement” and move on.”
He said this to a question posed by a reporter regarding on political scenario particularly the current crisis hitting SUPP and SPDP when met the new DUN yesterday morning.
When asked whether the formation of the BN club will affect the BN’s seat-majority, particularly during the DUN sitting, Asfia said that, it would certainly not as during the (State) election, the BN candidates were voted under BN ticket (the scale logo) not their respective component State BN party logos-PBB, PRS, SPDP or SUPP.
Yes, I agreed that the formation of Barisan Nasional club in the state of Sarawak by the G5 is not wrong. Furthermore the members of G5 do not have problem with BN but only with the leadership of SPDP. The leadership of SPDP should not underestimate the support of the people who voted the G5. Datuk Dr. Tiki Lafe is still a winnable candidate for Mas Gading.
