DEVELOPMENT IN SANTUBONG CONTINUES

-JUNAIDI VISITED TO AT LEAST SIX RESPECTIVE VENUES IN HIS ROUTINE WALKABOUT LAST WEEKEND BEFORE FLYING BACK TO KUALA LUMPUR FOR HIS PARLIAMENT SITTING SESSION-


Deputy Speaker of Parliament Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar had instructed the Public Work Department (PWD) to repair a damaged road towards a jetty at Rambungan near Lundu here during his walkabout in his parliamentary constituency on last Saturday.

According to Abdul Kamal Mohammad from Public Work Department, the cost for the repair for the road is estimated at about RM113,000 and would be completed within three months.

Junaidi, who is also member of Parliament for Santubong was on is routine walkabout visiting the areas in his Parliamentary constituency where he also presented donations to more than 60 needy folks, single mothers and other unfortunate quarters.

He also attended the “Berambeh Minum Pagi Bersama Rakyat Program” at Kampung Terusan Jaya in Sematan,  the “Berambeh Makan Tengahari Bersama Rakyat Program” at Simunin Jaya, a Youth Meet at Skambal, routine visit at Kampung Sungai Cina and Rambungan.

Throughout the visit Junaidi presented more mock cheques totalling RM4.4 million including the RM1.9 million special allocation from the Prime Minister's office for 22 projects.

Also present was Junaidi’s wife Datin Hajah Feona Sim Abdullah and other distinguished guests.
