Deputy Speaker of Parliament Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi
Tuanku Jaafar is highly confident that Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PPB)
will enable to win all it’s 14 Parliamentary seats in the forthcoming 13th
General Election.
According to Junaidi who is also the Member of Parliament
for Santubong said the confidence came
through the solid track record shown by all the PBB members of their
consistency of “going down to the ground” meeting the grassroots and people.
“It is a tradition of the PBB always going down to the
ground meeting the community of various levels and our attitude of not
disassociating ourselves with the people by understanding their problems and
formulating solutions to them.”
He said during a press conference after presenting the
“Touch Point Special Allocation” for the respective suraus and community bodies
from Taman Puteri and Bandar Samariang at his office at the Santubong
Parliamentary Service Centre at Jalan Kulas near the city here yesterday
morning.
“If you had done all your work as an MP during the term,
the support from the people would eventually shown through their votes during
the election period,” he said.
Also present at the presentation ceremony was Pemanca
Rashidi Junai.
