BN'S PRIORITY IS PEOPLE'S WELFARE WITHOUT LEAVING OUT DEVELOPMENT PROGRESSES

-JUNAIDI WHO PRESENTED RM4.4 MILLION MOCK CHEQUES TO THE VILLAGERS SAID, BN GOVERNMENT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PM NAJIB TUN RAZAK HAD "WALK THE TALK" OF ITS MOTTO WHICH "PEOPLE FIRST, PERFORMANCE NOW"-

The people should thank the Barisan Nasional (BN) Government for implementing development projects in their areas by continuing to support the Government to bring even more progress in near future.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said this adding that so far, the BN Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had “walk the talk” of its motto which is “People First, Performance Now”.

“All this while, the government proven it’s principle by giving priority to the people’s welfare without leaving out the development,” said Junaidi, who is also Member of Parliament for Santubong.

He said this in his speech while attending the “Berambeh Minum Pagi Bersama Rakyat Program” which was held at Kampung Terusan Jaya in Sematan attended by hundreds of villager yesterday morning.

Urging the voters to continue supporting for the BN Government in the forthcoming General Election, Junaidi said that the support for present Government is crucial to enable all the development planned for Sarawak can be implemented.

He disclosed that the Prime Minister had approved an additional RM1.9 million from the Prime Minister’s office for the construction or to upgrade 11 community halls in Santubong and all the projects are expected to be completed before the end of this week.

Later, Junaidi went to Kampung Simunin Jaya in Lundu to attend “Berambeh Makan Tengahari Bersama rayat Program” and presented more mock cheques totalling RM4.4 million (including the RM1.9 million mentioned earlier) for 22 projects.

During the both ceremonies, he also presented donations to more than 60 needy folks, single mothers and other unfortunate quarters.


Also present was Junaidi’s wife Datin Hajah Feona Sim Abdullah, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Haji Bujang Helmi Azmi who was representing Lundu State Assemblyman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Adenan Satem and other distinguished guests.
