ABANG JOHARI SUPPORTS FADILLAH TO DEFEND PETRA JAYA PARLIAMENTARY SEAT IN NEXT GE

A YOUNG INCUMBENT LIKE FADILLAH IS RARE TO FIND AS HE HAD BEEN WELL-GROOMED & ALL THIS WHILE, HAS PERFORMED TREMENDOUSLY OUTSTANDING IN HIS CAPABILITY AS AN MP
SATOK Assemblyman Datuk Amar Abang Haji Johari Tun Abang Haji Openg gives his support to Member of Parliament (MP) for Petra Jaya Datuk Haji Fadillah Haji Yusof to remain and continue being as the candidate for Petra Jaya MP in the next coming 13th General Election.

“A young incumbent like Fadillah is very rare to find as he had been well-groomed by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) all this while and as a senior PBB member I would like to say that Fadillah had performed tremendously and outstanding in his capability as an MP.”

Johari, who is also PBB deputy president said that although Fadillah holds the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation’s (MOSTI) portfolio, Fadillah still works very closely with him (Satok), Datuk Haji Daud Abdul Rahman (ADUN Tupong) and Hajah Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali (Samariang) which is in the Petra Jaya Parliamentary constituency.

Although Fadillah spends most of his time us to fulfil his obligations as the MOSTI deputy minister in West Malaysia, he would juggled his time to ensure that he would visit his constituency at any of his available time, said Johari to reporters this morning.

“The Sarawak State Election in April last year proves that the support for me, Datuk Daud and hajah Hasidah had increased drastically indicating that people are happy for Fadillah as our MP therefore, I hope the Sarawak PBB and BN leader, Pehin Seri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud would consent Fadilah to defend his seat in the next General election.”

On the last 12th General Election on March 8th, 2008, in a straight-fight Fadillah who is also PBB & State BN Youth Chief garnered 19,515 votes against Mohammad Jolhi from PKR who only managed to garn 5,118 votes.
