WE DEFINITELY STILL NEEDS JUNAIDI IN SANTUBONG

JUNAIDI AND PEHIN SRI TOGETHER AT A FUNCTION RECENTLY
“YOU tell me who is the best person to replace Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar,” that’s the first time I (as a reporter) was countered with a question by Hamzah Dollah, Kampung Tabuan Tengah Parti Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) branch chief when I asked for a comment whether Datuk Wan Junaidi will defend his P193 Santubong Parliamentary seat in the next General Election.

“Let’s be realistic, anyone can be an MP but can they really PERFORM after being an MP? I would not dare to risk my future and my children’s for something that is ascertained but ONE THING I am certain is if Datuk Wan continue being our MP, developments and projects would continue to pour in Santubong, for sure.”

HAMZAH DOLLAH
Hamzah in his speech recently during the Kampung Tabuan Tengah Qurban-meat distribution ceremony openly gives his support to Datuk Wan Junaidi, pledging that all those staying in Kampung Tabuan will support him (Datuk Wan) in the next general Election.

“If needed, we are ready to meet Chief Minister Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud to express our feelings to explain that we still need Datuk Wan, whom had brought a long list of development projects in our area to continue being our MP,” he added.

Meanwhile, Kampung Bintawa Villagehead Harie Siri who is also in the same tune as Hamzah expressed his support to Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi to continue leading the Santubong Community at the Parliamentary level.

"Datuk Wan had worked hard for the people in Santubong, especially for the Bintawa people. Together with our ADUN Dr Haji Abdul Rahman Junaidi, they had brought visible development to our village such as the drainage system and roads leading to Kampung Bintawa."

HARIE SIRI
"Sometimes I wonder, how does Datuk Wan have all the energy to work that hard, at daytime on working days we can see him in TV presiding the Parliament in KL but in the weekend, we can see him visiting his constituencies here in Sarawak but I believed that his energy comes from his sincerity to give his best services to his own people in Santubong."

"I also sincerely hope that he could continue being our MP because I felt that his position as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament had given him "an advantage" particularly when seeking allocations for the development projects in Santubong," added Harie.

"I just wanted to point out this-why must we change something that is good, I realize that some day we NEED  to change the reins of leadership but for now, Datuk Wan is the best choice for Santubong and we need more time to groom someone to be his successor."
