GOV CAPABILITY GIVING BR1M MAKES OPPOSITION UNEASY THUS CREATING FANTASY-BASED ALLEGATIONS

-THE ONE-OFF RM500 ASSISTANCE REFLECTS THE GOVERNMENT'S SINCERE & CONCERNS ON THE PEOPLE'S WELFARE
RM500 MAY SEEM NOT MUCH BUT FOR BELOW RM3K INCOME EARNERS, THAT'S A LOT
PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Najib’s confident of the government’s capability to pay the RM500 to all households earning RM3K or less per month is due to the strong domestic economy we have in addition, of the growth in our domestic economy reflected by the RM22 billion increase in tax revenue last year (2010’s tax revenue was RM86.4 billion) and not because of some other reasons as implied by some quarters.
CHECKING THE NAMELIST
The certain quarters mentioned a.k.a the opposition, who  obviously are very jealous and full of envy onto the governments’ effort in assisting directly to the people through this BR1M program, quickly brewed-up stories in their attempt to discredit the government’s aids, some even cooked-up with theories such as BR1M payments are actually “election goodies”.. for goodness sake man, the person in the ballot box during the election to mark the X in his or her choice of candidate on his ballot paper will be alone and certainly with no BN representative to force or make sure they vote for BN..face this fact, this aid is sincerely given to the people with no other intention at all.

NO ONE IS LEFT OUT OF THE BR1M PROGRAM
Back to the allegations thrown, some of the opposition who seemed more creative than the others, even (allow me to use this word) “fantasied” without any solid evidence or facts nor logic, made an even pathetic accusation that BR1M payment were paid with the money borrowed from the World Bank! OMG..how low can you get?

The Premier Najib made his stands brushed off this ridiculous allegations stating that the last time the government had borrowed from the World Bank was in 1998 and described the latest allegation (of government borrowing from the World Bank to pay BR1M) is clearly another desperate lie of the opposition parties.

When he initially announced the one-off RM500 payment under the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) during the Budget 2012 tabling in Parliament last October most people either from Peninsular Malaysia or Sarawak and Sabah were a bit sceptical whether such a program, involving maybe tens of millions of ringgit could be implemented or not.

DOUBLE-CHECKING THEIR NAMES
In addition, all the tedious processes of gathering information, coordinating, planning, estimating and list of other complicated procedures before the implementation of the program could be materialized.

Yesterday afternoon, those who earlier might had the slightest doubts, particularly the Kuchingites whether the government is serious in implementing such an ambitious plan or such program can even be materialized had to take back their doubts or words when the first phase of the BR1M payment for the areas in Kuching here were made.

FULLEST ATTENTION TO BOTH YB'S SPEECHES
Three-hundred and ninety-nine (399) recipients were presented with the BR1M RM500 vouchers by Minister of Housing and also Minister of Tourism Datuk amar Abang Haji Johari Tun Abang Haji Openg who was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Datuk Haji Fadillah Haji Yusof at the Dewan Datuk Merpati Jepang at Satok near the city here.

Both Johari, who is also Satok State Assemblyman and Fadillah who is also Member of Parliament for Petra Jaya reminded the BR1M recipients to appreciate the government’s aid by spending it on important things and not to waste their money on unnecessarily.

Other countries either in Europe, middle-east or other parts of the world are presently undergoing financial and economic problems however, Malaysia governed by Barisan Nasional (BN) led by Prime Minister Najib managed to boost our domestic economy growth strongly, against all of odds.

We managed to achieve this (strong domestic economic growth) due to our political stability, peace, harmony and unity that we have in Malaysia therefore, to preserve or to go beyond what we had achieved today, all the people must maintain the unity among the community,” said Johari adding that he is not surprise if the BR1M if would be distributed as an annual aid I the near future if the present peaceful and political stability could be maintained.
JO IN ACTION LOOKED ON BY FADILLAH (RIGHT) & OTHERS

The BR1M payment for Kuching (for BR1M payment in Kuching areas this week please click here) will be made in phases with the dates and venues of the payment would be announce at another date soon and the government has extended the deadline for sending in the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) or 1Malaysia People’ Aid application forms which initially fixed on last January 10 by another month to February 10.

PR ARE SPIN EXPERTS, SAYS PM

-THE PR MUST BE "OUT OF THEIR MINDS" WHEN PROMISING PTPTN BORROWERS OF "WIPING CLEAN THEIR LOAN'S SLATE" IF THEY WIN THE 13TH GE", AS USUAL, THIS IS JUST A LIE TO LURE FOR VOTERS

PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak "branded" the oppositions are full of "spin experts" where their would spin the facts and truth just for the sake to lure the voter to support them.

They really must be "out of their minds" if they think they could simply erase the PTPTN debts borrowed by the student which had total up to RM40 Billion without affecting this country's economy, said Najib.

"What about the future students who really needs the loans? Where can they seek financial loan then after this country does not collect the debts?," he added

"Compared to Barisan Nasional (BN) Government which is more realistic when comes to implementing policies or programs where we don't lie to the people by promising them something that is impossible to fulfill," added the Premier after officiating a Government program yesterday.

RM400M TO BUILT OVERTAKING LANES ALONG KUCHING-MIRI TRUNK ROAD

IF THE PROPOSAL IS APPROVED, IT WOULD CERTAINLY REDUCES THE DEATH ACCIDENT TALLY ALONG THE ROAD
MANYIN

SARAWAK Public Works Department (JKR) have been instructed by the Federal Government to evaluate on the State’s proposal to construct 95 overtaking lanes in Sarawak on the state trunk road between Kuching and Miri.

“The proposal of the overtaking-lane project, initially estimated at RM400 million is however, is the secondary option to our first proposal which is to upgrade the present over 900 km two-way trunk road into a dual-carriageway which overall cost a massive RM16 billion.”

Sarawak Infrastructure Development and Communication Minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin said this adding that he believes that their proposal will be approved as the cost of the overtaking-lane proposal submitted last year was just a fraction of their first RM16 billion proposal.

"I think RM400 million is nothing (but a small amount) for the Federal Government compared to what we originally asked for (RM16 billion) so there’s a possibility that the proposal would be approved.”

Manyin said this to reporters at a press conference after officiating at the State-level Road Safety Education (RSE) Program for National Service (NS) Trainees which was held at the Merdeka Palace Hotel near the city here yesterday.

"If we can get approval for the allocation for the overtaking-lane project even by stages or phases would do, a lot of lives can be saved along the trunk road."

"The average overall accident death tally in Malaysia is 18-person per day an average of 1.2-person per day for Sarawak alone," added Manyin, who is also Tebedu State Assemblyman.

FORMING BN CLUB IN SARAWAK IS NOT THE SOLUTION

THE BN CLUB MIGHT TRIGGER A NEW TREND OF  PARTY MEMBERS LEAVING THEIR RESPECTIVE PARTIES OVER "MISUNDERSTANDINGS" KNOWING THERE'S A SPOT TO PARK THEMSELVES
(CENTRE) JUNAIDI AT THE PRESS CONFEENCE
ESTABLISHING a Barisan Nasional (BN) Club  in Sarawak is not the best remedy to overcome the “internal problems” presently brewing in some of the State BN party components as by doing so (forming such club), not only  would make the matter worse but such action would eventually affects BN entity itself.

“Forming a BN club here in Sarawak is actually an “unhealthy” step and only serves as a "temporary mechanisme", in addition, it might also “trigger” a new trend for other BN members, literally encouraging them to choose the “simple way out” or “short-cut” over a “misunderstanding or quarrel” with other party members or party leader by forming or joining the BN Club as a solution.”

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Datuk Dr Haji Wan Tuanku Jaafar said this adding that should they choose to do so (establishing the BN club) it certainly would have a long term impact either indirectly or directly not only creating confusion, splitting factions among the party members and the party concerned but it actually also would affects for BN as well in whole.

"If this (establishing a BN club) comes to reality, what guarantee can you give that the others, say for an instance, those whom are unsatisfied with their parties suddenly decides to follow their footsteps joining the club? .. won't it affect our State BN?."

Junaidi, who is also Member of Parliament (MP) for Santubong was asked by reporters to comment on the decision taken by former senior Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) members dubbed also as the “SPDP5” faction, comprising of four State Assemblypersons and an MP who had announced of their plans to establish a BN club in Sarawak after quitting/sacked from SPDP.

“I am not taking side to anyone but from my point view, the establishment of the club is not the answer to their problem, they (the quarters concerned) have other options such as; they can approach the State BN leader Pehin Seri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud or an even higher level the National BN leader-the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to settle the matter once and for all.”

THERE ARE STILL ROOMS FOR NEGOTIATION, IN POLITIC, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE, YOUR OLD & LONG TIME MOST VICIOUS ENEMY COULD SUDDENLY BE YOUR BEST FRIEND THE VERY NEXT DAY..THAT'S POLITIC

When asked if there are still rooms for negotiation or any more chances for both sides to settle the matter as the situation seemed had deepen into an even critical stage, Junaidi smiled and said , “Of course, it is easy for me to imply them to “kiss, hug and forget about the past and move on” but in politic nothing is impossible if you really want that (settling the crisis) to happen.”

“For me, politic is the “Art of Possible”, it is possible for a person who is an “enemy” from another political party one day and suddenly turns your “best friend” after joining your party, so it is not an impossible task for them (those involved in the SPDP crisis) can reconcile because they are actually “brothers and sisters” from the same party .. nothing is impossible.”

Describing the SPDP's crisis as a "only a family matter", Junaidi expressed that from his point of view, both sides with condition that both sides sincerely wants to settle their conflict, should meet with the top State and Federal BN leaders as soon as possible for the sake of SPDP and the State BN, in general.

(FRONT RIGHT) JUNAIDI DURING HIS WALK-ABOUT
On to the internal crisis between the factions of the Sarawak United Peoples Party (SUPP) President Datuk Peter Chin and former SUPP President Dato Wong Soon Koh, Junaidi said that both of them are veteran politicians and hopes that the SUPP’s crisis could be settle as soon as possible, closing the ranks, strengthening in order to gain back the trust from the Chinese community in Sarawak.

Reminding that Sarawak and Malaysia are on the verge of the 13th General Election, he urges all State BN component parties to avoid any "crisis" and if there is any "internal conflict", the matter should not be blown and known to those outside the party in addition, those involved in the conflict should never use media as a platform to "hit" each other.

"It does not mean that we are trying to "hide" anything because all these misunderstanding can be solved internally without the need of being known to the unconcerned quarters," he added.
Junaidi who was accompanied by his wife Datin Hajah Feona Sim was interviewed by reporters during his routine Parliamentary constituency working visit and the "Lunch session with the Leaders" program at Kampung Muara Tebas near the city here on last Sunday.

DEMAK LAUT PBB YOUTH CONFIDENT BN WILL RETAIN SANTUBONG IN 13TH GE

ALTHOUGH MANY SPECULATES THE FORTHCOMING 13th GE WILL BE ONE OF THE TOUGHEST ELECTION EVER, HAMZAH IS OPTIMISTIC THAT BN WILL WIN & CONTINUE TO GOVERN THIS STATE

(2ND LEFT) HAMZAH MAKING A POINT IN THE MEETING
DEMAK Laut Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth wing will continue to work closely with their other counterparts; Demak Laut PBB "kaum bapa" and Woman's wing with their other counterparts in Santubong (Pantai Damai & Tanjung Datu) to ensure a solid huge win with an even higher majority for Santubong Parliementary Constituency in the forthcoming 13th General Election (GE).

"For Demak Laut PBB Youth Wing, we will maintain our previous election machinery in the last State Election in April last year as we are certain that our election machinery are still "perfectly geared-up" to perfom to the same or even better momentum than we acheived in the last State Election."

Demak Laut PBB Youth Wing Chief Wan Hamzah Wan Paie, disclosing this to UnReportedNews™® last Sunday added that all of the Demak Laut PBB wings had fully committed, working intensively in the last State Election thus resulting a significant thumping win with an even bigger majority compared to the previous elections.

Hamzah, who is also Senior Private Secretary to Member of Parliament (MP) for Santubong Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and Barisan Nasional (BN) Kuching Zone Youth Chief was met after chairing the Demak Laut PBB Youth Wing committee meeting at Kampung Muara Tebas near the city here.

WE WILL NOT BE COMPLACENT BY THE HUGE MAJORITY GARNERED IN THE LAST STATE ELECTION INSTEAD, WE WILL STRIDE EVEN HARDER FOR A BETTER RESULT AT THE PARLIAMENTARY LEVEL

"Last year's State Election's result was the best ever result that we had ever achieved however, the "sweet victory" would certainly not make us be complacent but instead, we will stride even harder to accomplish an even better result than that."

Pledging that his quarters will campaign and work even harder for the incumbent, Junaidi in the next GE, Hamzah said that Demak Laut PBB Youth Wings are in the process of preparing themselves, "mentally and physically" to go "all out" for the coming GE.

Admitting that the next GE would be the toughest ever election faced by BN, Hamzah is however, confident that BN will retain the Santubong Parliamentary constituency; DUN Pantai Damai, Demak Laut and Tanjung Dato, where in the last State Election in April last year, BN through PBB had won handsomely with a bigger majority in these three respective areas.

HAMZAH PRESENTING THE DONATION TO ADA
"As a start, we will organised a "basic election course" just "to refresh back" our members and we have also planned several other activities mainly to strenghten unity and relationship among our members as these aspects are very vital especially during the GE period, he said adding that all these activities will be organised in the near future.

Later in the evening, Hamzah and all the Demak Laut PBB Youth Wing committee members went to visit a PBB member,.Ada Kipli from Kampung Selabat who was admitted into the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here after undergoing a surgery.

Fourty-five-year-old Ada was overwhelmed with their presence and could not hold his tear back when Hamzah handed him a donation of some undisclosed amount of cash.

SUPP TO INTENSIFY ITS EFFORT TO GAIN BACK THE CHINESE'S CONFIDENCE IN THE WATER DRAGON YEAR

CHIN URGES ALL SUPP MEMBERS TO RE-UNITE & PUT ASIDE WHATEVER DIFFERENCES AMONG THEM FOR THE SAKE OF THE PARTY & THE INTEREST OF THE CHINESE COMMUNITY IN SARAWAK
GONG XI FA CHOY
SARAWAK United Peoples Party (SUPP) President Datuk Datuk Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui Peter hopes that the arrival of the “Chinese New Year of the Water Dragon” will strengthen the unity of the various ethnics of different religions, races and backgrounds in Sarawak to a higher and even greater level than before.

“The Chinese believes that the year of the dragon will bring prosperity and happiness therefore, I sincerely hope that we Sarawakians can achieve this by working close together despite of our differences of religions, races and ethnics to make Sarawak a much better state for all of us.”

Chin, who is also Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water and Member of Parliament for Miri was met by reporters during the SUPP’s Chinese New Year open-house which was held at SUPP’s headquarters at Central Road near the city on the first day of the celebration (Monday).

“This year, SUPP must work even much harder than before as being a political component party in State Barisan Nasional (BN) therefore, we, from all ranks and levels, from the top and bottom must give all our effort particularly, to contribute wins for BN in the forthcoming 13th General election.”

Urging each and every single one of SUPP's members to re-unite and regroup for the sake and interest the Chinese community and the party itself in general, Chin hopes that they can put aside whatever their differences are so that together they can focus in strengthening back the party to its “old self” by gaining support from the Chinese community.

During the morning session, Chin together with his deputy Datuk Richard Riot Jaem and other SUPP’s supreme council members hosted the hundreds of visitors attending the SUPP’s Chinese New Year open-house, an annual program organised by SUPP, with the main objective   for the people to meet the leaders of the Chinese community.

Among the VIPs attending the SUPP's open-house were Acting TYT Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar & his wife Datin Amar Fatimah Mohd Iskandar, accompanied by Assistant Minister of Planning & Resource Management Mohd Naroden Majais & spouse, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu & his wife Datuk Sri Empiang Jabu, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar & his wife Datin Hajah Feona Sim, Minister of Natural Resources & Environment Datuk Douglas Unggah, Minister of Welfare, Women & Family Development Datuk Hajah Fatimah Abdullah & other distinguished guests.

GOVERNMENT'S RM200 BOOK VOUCHERS BEING ABUSED?

-THE BOOK VOUCHERS ARE TO EASE THE STUDENT'S & CERTAINLY NOT MEANT TO MAKE SOME FAST CASH

THE ADS OPENLY OFFERING TO SELL THE BOOK VOUCHERS IN FACEBOOK
DESPITE the government's sincere effort to ease the financial burden faced by higher learning students by providing them with the one-off RM200 book-vouchers aid, a handful of them somehow were not that "appreciative" with the assistance when they were said to had sold their vouchers to a third party, just slightly lower than its worth.

As seen in an advertisement dated January 19, 2012 posted in the Facebook (above), the advertiser without no feelings of guilt committing any offense or what so ever boldly and openly made the offer to sell the RM200 book vouchers for RM190, five per cent lesser than its actual worth.

This ad was noticed by an UnReportedNews™®'s correspondent who then took the initiative to go undercover as an interested buyer and according to my correspondent, the advertiser currently have FOUR RM200 book vouchers and he would have no problem to obtain another six vouchers (my correspondent asked for 10 vouchers) in a short period & he is willing to sell them at RM180 a piece (meaning to say that the advertiser might had bought them less than RM180 a piece!)

The one-off RM200 book-vouchers aid for the higher-learning students are actually subsidies and selling them is an offence.

In another word, a portion of the RM50.2 bil allocated to the education announced in the federal budget 2012 tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in parliament in October last year literally went into the drain or in better words "into the pockets of the opportunists."

Deputy minister of Higher Education Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah was quoted later saying, "The incentive must not be MISUSED and the RM200 are certainly not REDEEMABLE for cash as this is the government’s way of helping students are books at this level are getting more expensive and many students are facing difficulties in buying them."

This aid which was initially meant for our students obviously had been abused and what we seen here could be just the "tip of the iceberg" therefore, relevant government agencies such as education department, finance department and even the home ministry must monitor closely or find an effective solution to prevent this matter to continue further before things goes out of hand.

CERITA SEBENAR NFC (BAHAGIAN I)

I COULD NOT RESIST MYSELF TO COPY PASTE THIS ARTICLE WRITTEN BY FELLOW BLOGGER-RBF ON THE "SO-CALLED NFC SCAM" IN SIMPLE LAYMAN WORDS, PLEASE READ THEN YOU'LL UNDERSTAND..

NFC - National Feedlot Centre (Pusat Fidlot National) - Di bawah Kerajaan Pusat.
